Platform Overview

TimrX is an AI creative platform for generating 3D models, images, and videos — all from your browser. No downloads, no installs. Create production-ready assets using text prompts or reference images, then export for 3D printing, game engines, or social media.

Available tools

  • Text to 3D — Generate 3D models from text descriptions.
  • Image to 3D — Convert reference images into 3D models.
  • AI Image — Generate 2D images via OpenAI, Google Imagen, Google Nano, FLUX.2 Pro, Ideogram V3, Recraft V4, or Nano Banana.
  • AI Video — Generate videos via Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0, or Seedance 1.5 Pro.
  • Refine — Turn a preview model into a higher-detail Meshy refine with optional style guidance.
  • Remesh — Optimize 3D model topology for printing or editing.
  • AI Texture — Generate PBR textures for any 3D model.
  • Full-Color 3MF — Convert textured models into slicer-ready 3MF files with 1-16 color palettes for multi-material printers (Bambu Lab, Prusa MMU, etc.). 10 credits.
  • Rig & Animate — Bind humanoid characters, then apply library motion with optional post-processing outputs.
  • 3D Viewer — Real-time Three.js viewer with orbit, zoom, and pan.
  • File Converter — Free client-side 3D format converter.

Workspace layout

The workspace is split into three areas:

  • Left rail — Tool selector. Switch between Image, Model, Remesh, Texture, Rig, Animate, and Video panels.
  • Center — 3D viewer. Interact with your current model: orbit, zoom, pan. The toolbar below offers quick actions like Retry, Refine, Remesh, Texture, Download, and Share.
  • Right panel — Generation history. Browse, search, and filter all your past creations. Expand to a full gallery view.
Tip: Click any item in the history panel to load it into the 3D viewer instantly.

Text to 3D

Describe what you want and get a 3D model. Select the Model panel from the left rail, choose the Text to 3D tab, enter your prompt, and hit Generate.

AI Model
Meshy 6 (latest), Meshy 5
Batch Count
1 to 4 models per generation
Symmetry
Off, Auto, or On
Art Style
Realistic or Sculpture
A/T Pose
Toggle on for pose-ready character models
License
CC BY 4.0 or Private

When generating more than one model, a draft selection grid appears. Pick your favorite, then continue to texture or export.

Cost: 20 credits per generation. Estimated time ~1 minute.

Image to 3D

Upload a reference image and get a 3D model based on it. Switch to the Image to 3D tab inside the Model panel, upload your image, optionally name the model, and generate.

All the same options from Text to 3D apply — AI model, symmetry, art style, batch count, and license. The AI uses the image as a visual reference to construct the geometry.

Cost: 30 credits per generation. Estimated time ~1 minute.
Best results: Use clean, well-lit images with a single subject on a simple background. A single front-facing shot works best.

Remesh

Optimize a model's topology for 3D printing, animation cleanup, or export delivery. Select the Remesh panel from the left rail, choose the current model or upload a new one, pick a preset, then adjust size, origin, and export formats when needed.

Presets & Topology
Start with Print Ready, Figurine / Mini, or High Detail for printing. Use Game / Low-Poly only for real-time rendering. Fine-tune poly count in Advanced Settings.
Size & Origin
Set Meshy resize height in meters, choose bottom or center origin placement, and keep the separate print target-height field for STL export prep.
Output Formats
GLB stays enabled for in-app preview. Add STL, OBJ, FBX, USDZ, or BLEND depending on your print, DCC, AR, or Blender workflow.
Format-Only Conversion
Turn on format-only conversion when you just need fresh exports without changing topology, origin placement, or scale.

Accepted upload formats: OBJ, FBX, STL, GLTF, GLB.

Cost: 6 credits. Estimated time ~2 minutes.

Refine

Refine turns a finished preview model into a higher-detail Meshy refine pass. Start it from the history menu or the viewer toolbar when a preview result is active, then choose how much surface guidance you want before submitting.

Eligible Source
Only preview-stage Text to 3D or Image to 3D results can be refined directly.
Style Direction
Use a short texture prompt, a reference image, or both. When both are set, the image is the stronger guide.
Meshy Model
Choose Latest, Meshy 6, or Meshy 5. Remove Lighting is available on Meshy 6 / Latest.
PBR Output
Keep PBR enabled when you want the refine pass to return richer material outputs with the upgraded geometry.

Refine is best when the silhouette is already correct and you want stronger surface detail, better structure, or a material-guided version of the same preview concept.

Cost: 6 credits. Estimated time ~2 minutes.

AI Texture

Generate PBR (physically-based rendering) textures for any 3D model using a text prompt or a JPG/PNG style reference. Select the Texture panel, choose the current model or upload a new one, set your material prompt or image, then generate.

Style Input
Use text, a reference image, or both. When both are set, the image guides the retexture.
Meshy Model
Choose Latest, Meshy 6, or Meshy 5. Remove Lighting is available on Meshy 6 / Latest.
Output Control
Keep GLB for in-app preview, then add OBJ, FBX, STL, or USDZ when you need extra export formats.

When PBR Maps is enabled, Meshy generates base color plus roughness, metallic, and normal outputs. Preserve Original UV keeps existing UVs when the source model is already laid out correctly.

Accepted model uploads: OBJ, FBX, STL, GLTF, GLB. Accepted style-image uploads: JPG and PNG.

Cost: 5 credits. Estimated time ~1.5 minutes.

Full-Color 3MF Print

Convert any textured 3D model into a slicer-ready 3MF file with configurable color palettes. The tool maps your model's textures into solid color regions that multi-material printers can reproduce using separate filament slots.

Color Palette (1-16)
Choose how many filament colors your printer supports. Common presets: 2 colors (dual extruder), 4 colors (Bambu Lab AMS), 8 or 16 colors (multiple AMS units).
Color Detail (3-6)
Controls quadtree depth for color region precision. Higher values capture finer color transitions but increase file size. "Balanced" (4) works for most prints.

How to use

  1. Generate and texture a 3D model using any workflow (text-to-3D, image-to-3D, retexture).
  2. Open the model's card menu in the history panel and click Full-Color 3MF.
  3. Select a color palette (2, 4, 8, or 16 colors) and detail level.
  4. Click Generate 3MF. The conversion takes about 1 minute.
  5. Download the 3MF and open it in Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, Cura, or your slicer of choice.

Compatible printers

Works with any multi-material FDM printer that accepts 3MF files: Bambu Lab X1/P1S (with AMS), Prusa XL / MK4 (with MMU3), Creality (multi-color kits), and others. Single-color printers can also use 3MF as a replacement for STL — it carries richer metadata.

Cost: 10 credits per conversion. Estimated time ~1 minute.

Rig & Animate

Rig and Animate are separate workspace panels. Rigging checks whether a humanoid model is ready for a skeleton, then Animate applies a library action to the successful rig task and can optionally return one processed derivative.

Rig Preflight
Checks source availability, existing rig state, and face count when Meshy metadata is available. Uploads show a limited preflight warning because the deeper validation happens on submit.
Rig Inputs
Use the current model or upload a GLB. Height is sent to Meshy for scale-aware binding, and you can optionally attach a PNG base texture image to help UV-based rigging.
Provider Constraints
Meshy rejects models over 300,000 faces and can fail pose estimation on non-humanoid or poorly separated silhouettes. Remesh first when needed.
Animation Output
Each animation run always returns GLB and FBX. Advanced Output can optionally add one extra derivative: FPS-adjusted FBX, USDZ, or armature-only FBX.

Use the Animate panel after rigging succeeds. Load the latest rigged model or pick another rigged history item, choose an animation from the library, then apply it. Built-in walking/running outputs from the rig task stay available separately.

Cost: Rigging 5 credits. Animation 3 credits.

Credits System

TimrX uses a credits-based system. Every generation action costs a fixed number of credits. Credits can be obtained through one-time purchases or monthly subscriptions.

How credits work

  • Reserved on submit — When you start a generation, the required credits are reserved from your balance immediately.
  • Consumed on success — Once the generation completes successfully, the reserved credits are permanently deducted.
  • Refunded on failure — If a generation fails or is cancelled, the reserved credits are returned to your balance automatically.

Credit sources

  • One-time packs — Purchase a credit pack for immediate use. Credits never expire.
  • Subscriptions — Receive a monthly credit allocation. Credits refresh each billing cycle.
Note: Video credits are separate from general credits. Video packs add to your video credit balance, while general packs add to your general credit balance.

FAQ

What file format do generated models use?

All AI-generated 3D models are delivered as GLB files. You can convert them to OBJ, STL, or GLTF using the built-in File Converter.

Are my models print-ready?

Generated models are suitable for most FDM and resin printers. For best results, run the Remesh tool with Feature Preserving or Adaptive mode to optimize the topology before slicing.

What is the difference between Refine and Remesh?

Refine adds aesthetic detail and improves overall mesh quality (6 credits). Remesh optimizes the topology (polygon structure) for printing or further editing (6 credits). Use Refine for visual quality, Remesh for structural quality.

Can I upload my own models?

Yes. Use the "New" button in the 3D viewer to upload a GLB or GLTF file (max 50MB). You can also upload models directly into the Remesh and Texture panels for processing.

Is the File Converter free?

Yes. The converter is completely free, requires no account, and processes everything client-side — your files never leave your device.

Which video provider should I use?

Veo 3.1 offers the highest resolution (up to 4K) and style controls. Seedance 2.0 Fast is the most affordable option. Seedance 2.0 Preview offers higher quality at a premium. Seedance 1.5 Pro via fal.ai supports 12-second durations.

Do credits expire?

One-time purchased credits never expire. Subscription credits refresh each billing cycle — unused subscription credits do not roll over.

What happens if a generation fails?

Credits are automatically refunded to your balance if a generation fails, times out, or is cancelled before completion.

How long do generations take?

Most 3D model generations complete in about 1 minute. Remesh takes about 2 minutes. Video generation takes about 2 minutes. Times vary depending on server load.
